We will start with our woods which will be in “rough size”.
We will have full sized drawings to help visualize where we are
going. I will explain and demonstrate the day’s task. We’ll
have open discussion, and then we start our work. You build
your guitar as I build mine. Throughout the day, you’ll have
many questions, and I’ll be right there to help.
I know everyone has a unique background and experience;
therefore the work time frames are all flexible. I want you to
have enough time to make these skills your own. We will build
the guitar complete, “in the white,” and prepped for finish.
Lacquer spray finish is additional and spray lessons are
another course. After the finish is sprayed we’ll complete the guitar,
applying the bridge, installing the saddle nut and tuners,
install strings slowly and “Bingo!” Your guitar is finished!
With consistent attendance and acquiring the necessary skills in
an easy-going, fun atmosphere, I am confident that you will
build a great guitar, and have a great time while doing it!
